  Malísima. Me alojé aquí hace unos meses. Varios días que regresé a la habitación me la encontré sin limpiar y con bolsas de basura colgadas en la puerta. El personal muy frío y el desayuno poco variado. No disponía ni de una nevera para guardar la leche de la niña. No volveremos por aquí

  This hotel is in Colmenar de Viejo, which is a cute small city at the north end of the Madrid renfe high-speed suburban railway net - only 4 stops from the subway stations Chamartin, further going to Nuevos Ministerios and Atoche. Colmenar de Viejo is a nice spanish contrast to Madrid at the edge of the Menzenares sierra / El Pendrizo national park, a "arena de torres" is at the highest point of this small town. It is an old small city - no suburban concrete illness. The hotel is wonderful, only 2 stories high with wonderful stone plate floor (heated in the winter - I was there in February, perfectly warm). It is located in the old part of Colmenar de Viejo, with narrow streets and no big traffic, but not these high crammed tiny-room-houses as in Madrid city center. Very large rooms with very large modern bathroom, perfectly clean, large windows - gives you nice spanish countryside feeling. Only small breakfast (coffee + orange juice + some piece of cake self service), but very moderate prices. Very nice restaurant in the evening - and many small restaurants / bars / shops around in this nice Colmenar de Viejo - there seem to be only original spanish people around here. It has a free closed and guarded parking lot in the cellar if you come by car, and it has free WiFi in the reception and restaurant area.

  Lovely hotel , very clean, and staff very attentive. Restaurant very good value and good menu. Lots of different outside terasses to sit in the sun !

  This is a gem of a hostal. The rooms are clean, the food in the restaurant is excellent, and the staff are exceedingly helpful. I will definitely stay here again the next time I walk the Camino de Madrid.
